Sheikh Nasir bin Hamad Al Khalifa announced the name of the satellite which will be built entirely in Bahrain. The name ‘Al Mundir’ has been given to it.
According to the vision of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain decided to build its own satellite. This is an important step towards sustainable development. He added that currently about 35 percent of the work has been completed.
