Head of the District Youth and Sports Office (Kadispora) Pandeglang, Dadan Saladin will be removed from his post, after holding the Regent Pandeglang Cup with prizes of tens of thousands for the sports of pencak silat and rock climbing.
The Regent of Pandeglang, Irna Narulita, was dismissed because he was deemed to have destroyed his good name.
Not only that, other officials at the Pandeglang Dispora will also be evaluated if they are proven to have actively participated in the Pandeglang Regent’s Cup, they may be removed from their positions.
“I am sure that I will be removed from my position because I have tarnished my good name. The official who is in charge of the event will be shifted later, I will move it apart from the Head of Youth and Sports Affairs,” said Pandeglang Regent, Irna Narulita, Tuesday (21/12).
The Head of the Pandeglang Regency Dispora, Dadan Saladin, admitted that he would be resigned to being fired from his position, after holding the 2021 Pandeglang Regent Cup for Junior and High School levels with prizes of Rp. 45 thousand to Rp. 95 thousand, although the implementation cost Rp. 150 million.
Dadan also admitted that he did not report the agenda to the Regent of Pandeglang, Irna Narulita. The whole event he entrusted to his subordinates and did not supervise.
“Yes, I resigned. It was my fault that I didn’t notify him. I entrusted it to my subordinates,” said the Head of Pandeglang Regency’s Youth and Sports Office, Dadan Saladin, Tuesday (21/12).
The man who is also the Chair of IPSI in Pandeglang Regency still hopes that the world of sports and the achievements of his athletes can shine. He also apologized for making mistakes in the activities of the Pandeglang Regent Cup.
“We hope that sports in Pandeglang can develop, especially pencak silat,” he explained.
