Slavko Vincic was in the spotlight in 2020 when he was involved in a scandal other than sports. He was arrested in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, during a raid allegedly linking him to a drug and arms trafficking ring.
Vincic vehemently denied being involved in these illegal activities. “I accepted an invitation to lunch, and this was my biggest mistake. I’m sorry. I was sitting at a table with my company, suddenly the police came and what happened s” has passed,” said Vincic, who was ultimately acquitted in the case.
A good memory for Real
Slavko Vincic has only managed one game with Real Madrid in the Champions League, but not just any game. The Slovenian was in charge of the last Champions League final, in which Real beat Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
He also featured for Milan twice in this tournament. The first was against Atlético de Madrid in the 2021-22 group stage. The Italians won 0-1 at the Metropolitano. The second time Slavko Vincic made the Milan match was last season, when AC Milan lost 3-0 to PSG in the group stage.
