Nationalgeographic.co.id-Castle myth Sörby has been rediscovered in a dry lake in Sweden after being lost for more than three centuries. Previously, castle myth this ancient is just a rumor among historians and archaeologist.
Formerly, it was the largest castle on an island off the southeast coast of Sweden in the Baltic Sea. Archaeologist Jan-Henrik Fallgren rediscovered the castle after finding references to it in his 1704 AD dissertation.
according to Sputnik News, Jan-Henrik Fallgren began hunting for the castle by following clues from 18th-century texts. He first ventured into the dry lake at Skedemosse where a headland jutted out of the swamp known as Kvinnö. It was there, when the land region had merged with the peninsula, Jan-Henrik Fallgren found the castle myth lost after being considered lost for more than 300 years.
