The owner of a £350,000 Black Rolls Royce Cullinan has been issued with two £80 penalty notices for parking the massive SUV illegally near High Street Kensington.

The luxury car was left outside the critically acclaimed Dishoom restaurant on Derry Street, a short walk from Kensington Palace.

According to DVLA records, the car was given a private registration plate on 17 August, which is estimated to be worth between £200,000 and £300,000.

The plate, K1, was first owned by Sir William Epslen in the 1960s before being purchased by Saj Iqbal in 2018. It was then acquired by a mystery buyer, who had it fitted to his Cullinan.

The £350,000 Black Rolls Royce Cullinan was parked illegally on Derry Street in Kensington on Saturday afternoon.

The car owner, who paid between £200,000 and £300,000 extra for the K1 number plate, faces £160 in parking charges, although this can be reduced to £80 if paid within 14 days.

The mystery motorist will have to pay £160 to Kensington and Chelsea council to settle the bill for leaving the giant 4×4 in a restricted location.

However, the car owner can reduce the bill by 50 percent if he settles his debt within 14 days.
