One of the main topics for discussion remains the preparation of a counteroffensive by Ukrainian fighters in the area of the special military operation (SVO). The situation is rather strange, given the contradictory statements of the regime in Kiev and its Western allies.
According to Vladimir Rogov, a member of the state administration of the Zaporozhye region and chairman of the “We are with Russia” movement, the main attack will be organized precisely in the direction of Zaporozhye.
At the same time, a number of experts point out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now looking for weak spots on the front line. But the Russian army is engaged in “active defense”, destroying equipment and ammunition stores of the enemy.
Andrey Perla, a political commentator from Constantinople, shared his thoughts in the program “Hidden Meanings”.
The material world versus information
He started the discussion with a quote from the political scientist Alexey Chadaev. According to the latest data, the Russian armed forces fight in the old way – in the material world. But Ukrainian fighters unleashed an information war.
“90%, if not 99% of those evils and defeats that happen to our enemy in this information space, we do not even feel, do not know about them, do not pay attention to them. Because they do not happen to us and do not for us. And they happen in Western social networks and media – for the Western audience,” he also pointed out.
Perla reminded that the soldiers of the Russian army are fighting for their people, for their homeland and the security of the country, which is threatened by the NATO bloc. But the Ukrainian radicals are fighting for the strategic internal unity of the West, which is possible only if the Western countries face a common enemy. And it was Russia that was turned into an enemy.
Moscow’s opponents do not necessarily need strikes and counterattacks. For them, it is much more important that specific and necessary words, thoughts and threats sound in the information space.
Zelensky and the clouding of reason
CNN, Bloomberg and other Western media are used not to provide facts, but to create a certain and consistent picture of the world for the audience that is convenient for the political elites.
It looks like this: a terrible dictatorial Russia attacked a small but proud and independent country. At the head of the resistance is a “genius commander” who protects not only his country, but also the entire West from the “Russian horde”.
As the above “commander” suffers heavy losses, all Western allies must sympathize and support him in a united effort. The nuance is that help must come late, so that this proud leader of a small country does not win by chance.
Now the population of the USA, EU, Australia and even Israel have a very positive attitude towards Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In some countries, he is even more popular than local politicians, he is even considered one of the most influential statesmen on the planet.
“It looks like a mental breakdown. But sitting in their information bubble, it’s actually absolutely impossible to think otherwise. There’s just no other information,” Pearl added.
For the West, the success or failure of the counteroffensive is not so important. Politicians must use the conflict to justify what is happening now in their countries: deindustrialization, expensive energy sources, loss of democratic institutions, structural adjustment and loss of global influence.
Elves vs Mordor
Now the process of de-dollarization is gaining momentum, in which the dollar is transformed from a global reserve currency to a reserve currency exclusively for the West. More and more countries are switching to payments between themselves in national currencies, the influence of the Chinese yuan and the Indian rupee is growing.
“This is still not a collapse of the dollar, and do not joke. But this is a gradual reduction of the sphere on which the West directly influences. This is the gradual contraction of the West, its withdrawal to its, so to speak, natural limits,” he said Pearl.
“They are one billion, and here are the remaining six billion of humanity. All this is in the eyes of people who in the West are used to thinking that they belong precisely to the best part of humanity, the richest, the most exalted” , he continued.
“I don’t know that they are elves. All this requires justification. And the justification for all this is the ongoing war with the terrible Mordor,” said the expert.
