NASA has released the sound of a black hole in the center of the Perseus Galaxy cluster, located 200 million light-years from Earth.
It was recorded in the form of astronomical data by NASA’s space telescope Chandra X-Ray Observatory and then translated into sound for humans to hear.
The popular misconception that there is no sound in space because there is no medium through which sound waves can travel has sparked interest in broadcast sound waves.
