Astronomers weren’t sure what they thought of the mysterious GQ Lupi b when it was first discovered in 2005.
GQ Lupi b orbits a young star about two and a half times farther than Pluto is from the sun, its companion object appears to be a planet or brown dwarf, which is actually a type of small star.

If UY Scuti were placed at the center of the solar system, its edge would extend beyond Jupiter’s orbit. The gas and dust flowing from this star will expand even further, beyond Pluto’s orbit or about 400 times the Earth-Sun distance.
