The sadistic murder of a woman has caused an uproar among residents of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Kalsel). The police caught the murderer.
“Alhamdulillah, we have secured the perpetrators and are still undergoing investigation,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banjarmasin Police Commissioner Alfian Tri Permadi to reporters in Banjarmasin, Wednesday (2/6/2021).
He revealed that the dead victim was Rahimah (34), a resident of Jalan Sejahtera II, Gang Sampurna, Kelayan Lurah Village, Central Banjarmasin District, South Kalimantan. Police are still investigating the perpetrator’s motive.
But he has not revealed the identity of the perpetrator of the sadistic murder.
“It is true that the victim’s data, regarding the motive for the murder itself, we are still investigating first, because the perpetrator is still being investigated,” he said.
As previously reported, the discovery of a headless woman’s body lying in the yard of an empty house caused a stir among Banjarmasin residents. Police say the woman was murdered.
“The provisional suspicion is that the victim was a murder victim. We are still conducting an investigation,” said Banjarmasin Police Chief Kombes Rachmat Hendrawan to reporters, Wednesday (2/6).
The headless woman’s body was found in Belitung Darat Village Gang Keluarga RT 7 RW 1, Belitung Village, West Banjarmasin, this morning. The West Banjarmasin Police Chief AKP Faizal and the Banjarmasin Police Inafis team have checked the crime scene (TKP).
Now the area where the body was found is lined with police because there are many people who want to witness this incident up close. The woman’s body has been taken to the Ulin Hospital in Banjarmasin for an autopsy.
According to Indra Kurniawan, a local resident, the discovery of the headless woman’s body began when a resident saw something burning at the scene, around 06.00 WITA. Residents also called volunteer firefighters, coincidentally the distance between the scene and the volunteer post was close.
Apparently, at that location was found a headless body whose body was half burned. The body was in a naked condition.
It was stated that the position of the victim’s body was supine in a puddle of water, right next to the empty house, with no clothes on.
While the victim’s head was found approximately 10 meters from the victim’s body. Residents also found clothes and underwear that allegedly belonged to the victim in an empty house.
