The premiere of the musical El Venerable was held at the Municipal Theater of Caracas, performed by the Orfeón Libertador directed by Maestro Jaime García to pay a well-deserved tribute to Doctor José Gregorio Hernández. Furthermore, this cultural activity will take place in every corner of the country.

The Orfeón Libertador began delighting those present with various chants performed on other occasions by the golden laurels which were quite motivated and inspired during the activity.
“What is happening today, here at the Municipal Theater, is unprecedented. In the 60 years that I have lived in Caracas, I have never seen the clearest and purest love for our Blessed José Gregorio Hernández, ”said Mr. Mauricio Cedeño, who was in audience with a holy card of the venerable.
Through the Instagram account of the Orfeón de Caracas, maestro Pedro Mauricio González claimed that his devotion to Dr. José Gregorio Hernández was what motivated him to create this musical work that has an entrance song, called El Señor is my strength and “at the end there is also a song called Alleluia, which is a song of praise to the doctor of the poor”.
Finally, González invited believers from all over Venezuela to participate in this cultural festival, which extends throughout the country, on the occasion of the 158th anniversary of the birth of the Blessed, on October 26.
