Krefeld/Moenchengladbach. Due to demand, the space available for all shows has been expanded and an additional date has been found.
All performances of the new “Musical meets X-Mas” Christmas special at the community theater had long since sold out, so waiting lists had to be instituted. Now there is good news for all those who wish to experience the new musical extra: the space available for all shows has been expanded so that tickets are available again. There will also be another show on December 18th.
Music fans will get their money’s worth with this small but fine extra: American pianist Bonnie Wagner will create a varied program together with Gabriela Kuhn and Susanne Seefing from the musical theater ensemble and Miha Brkinjač and Sjoerd Knol from the Junges Theater: The pre- Christmas Extra “Musical meets XMas brings together wintery Christmas songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber (Phantom of the Opera), Irving Berlin (White Christmas), Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast), Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (The Queen of ice “), Frank Wildhorn and many others and invites you to a relaxed musical evening. The program is rounded off by a medley of swinging American Christmas songs.
The mezzo-soprano Susanne Seefing and the soprano Gabriela Kuhn are well remembered by the public for numerous musical productions, such as “My Fair Lady”, “Othello must not explode”, “I love you, you are perfect, now change” or ” Sunset Boulevard”. Baritone Miha Brkinjač has been a member of the Opernstudio Niederrhein since the beginning of the season, musical singer Sjoerd Knol a member of the Junges Theater – both young singers have already proven their musical talent in “Love, Murder and Noble Duties”.
