Recently, swimmers from the Club de Sauvetage et Secourisme de Muret went to Angoulême for the French N2 and Masters championships.
The French swimmers ranked from 24th to 48th place in their categories were present. Eighteen lifeguards, from minors to seniors, including three engaged in Masters made the trip. The muretain club participated in 26 finals and gleaned 24 medals. He finished 1st in the general classification of clubs present in N2.
Axelle Queniart took the top step of the podium in the 100m dummy fins, 50m dummy and 200m Super Rescuer. Marie Prulhière won bronze in the combined 100m and 200m Super Lifeguard. Manon Sensebe finished 2nd in the 100m buoy tube. As for Romane Bérisson, she won silver in the 200m jumps and bronze in the 200m Super Rescuer. Emma Baron finished 1st in the 100m model fins and Lucie Robin brought back two silver medals, one in the 50m model and the other in the combined 100m.
In the Masters category, Delphine Martin won 5 gold medals in the 200m obstacles, the 100m dummy fins, the 100m buoy tube, the 100m combined and the 200m Super Rescuer and took silver in the 50m dummy.
Olivier Cordoba was silver medalist in the 100m combined and in the 200m Super Rescuer and obtained bronze in the 100m obstacles and the 100m dummy fins. Aymeric Mouton won silver in the 200m hurdles and three bronze medals in the 100m dummy fins, 50m dummy and 200m Super Lifeguard. “For many young people, it was their first competition at this level. The objective was to have fun and set the best times possible. The results obtained exceeded our expectations. of the work accomplished” is satisfied with Marceau Brissé, coach of the CSSM.
