The model Holly Madison (41) was seriously noticed when she became known as one of the girlfriends of the late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner at the start of the 2000s.
Hefner was known to be constantly surrounded by young women, with whom he lived in the famous Playboy mansion. At one point, Madison was his main girlfriend.
“Murder and rape”
– Beaten to death
Now she is one of the main characters behind the documentary series “The Playboy Murders”. The documentary series premieres on Monday 23 January on Discovery+ in the US and tells the story of “murders, rapes, accusations and conspiracy theories” that have characterized the Playboy universe.
Playboy was founded by Hugh Hefner as early as 1953. After Hefner died at the age of 91 in 2017, more and more scandals and shocking tragedies have been rolled out that affected many of the women associated with his circle of friends.
– There are incredibly strong stories from real life that can happen to anyone, says Madison ET.
Parted in case
– Will never be the same
In “The Playboy Murders,” Madison sheds light on the tragic deaths of women who once wore the iconic bunny ears.
The first episode is about the brutal murder of Jasmine Fiore (28).
On 15 August 2009, Jasmine Fiore’s naked and dismembered body was found stuffed in a suitcase – and left in a rubbish container, writes the newspaper New York Post.
Police were initially unable to identify the body, which was missing fingers and teeth, but her breast implants, which were removed during an autopsy, contained a serial number.
The ex-husband left a letter
Police in Los Angeles gathered enough evidence to charge ex-husband Ryan Alexander Jenkin (32), according to the report newspaper.
– Traumatic
When the police came to arrest the 32-year-old, he was found dead in a motel room, according to the report CBC News.
The police are said to have found a letter in which the ex-husband is said to have written that he was angry because he thought she was unfaithful to him.
“For about half of the letter, he described how much he loved her, but he also elaborated on how frustrated she made him and that he felt very jealous of some of her relationships,” police officer Bill Kohanek told CBS News.
Sharing the same story
The New York Post writes that although Holly Madison did not know Fiore personally, both were blondes with a beaming smile – and both had a history of being abused by men.
– Jasmine was the victim of a terrible crime and was involved in a violent relationship, she says and continues:
Abel (7 weeks) shook to death
– I was also in an abusive relationship, but then with Hugh Hefner, who was emotionally and mentally controlling.
