There there is no return of money, there is the fulfillment of an order. In all cases, there is some underestimation. It is difficult to protect a person when there is an order for him. If someone catches it, he is in a position to negotiate,” said the former employee of the NSO.
According to him, the services had no prior information about the case.
“The calmness with which he left shows that he was confident that he was safe. And he could never be safe,” he opined.
The case cannot be connected with the attempt to assassinate Ivan Geshev, indicated Gen. Ralchev. “Alexei Petrov’s mistake was that he actively took it upon himself to get the then chief prosecutor to resign. Who is Alexei Petrov to tell the chief prosecutor to ‘resign’? He was playing or repeating words that were put in his mouth , most likely from the environment around him, which is perhaps in-game in relation to his ending,” the guest also said.
Gen. Ralchev explained under what conditions the NSO protects our police. “There is a three-member commission that must unanimously agree that the signal is sharp for a current or former politician,” he added.
Mastering the services has always been the number one task of those in power, and the goals are to suppress the opposition, provide information, influence in society and protect their personnel, insisted the former NSO official.
