The Council of Ministers adopted a decision on the free provision for the management of immovable cultural value – exclusive state property – to the municipality of Sozopol for a period of 10 years.
The subject of the decision is the Archaeological Reserve Islands “St. Ivan” and “St. Peter” – real part, total area of the real part of the reserve 140,761 sq. m., announced by Order of the Council of Ministers No. 36 of November 21, 2001 and included under item 23 of the appendix to Art. 50, para. 3 of the Law on Cultural Heritage.
The immovable cultural value is provided to the municipality of Sozopol for a period of 10 years for the implementation of activities related to its preservation and presentation in accordance with the legislation and rules in the field of state aid.
The activities related to the preservation of immovable cultural value, as well as the implementation of other scientific, cultural, educational and tourist activities, should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Cultural Heritage by the Municipal Cultural Institute “Museum Center” – Sozopol, as the relations between Municipal cultural institute “Museum Center” – Sozopol and the municipality of Sozopol will settle with a contract.
