The executive committee of the Canary Federation of Municipalities (Fecam) has agreed to request “with the utmost urgency“Clarification to the President of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, about what the control measures after May 9, day on which the alarm state will end.
In a meeting held this Wednesday, the mayors have agreed to ask Ángel Víctor Torres what measures will be applied to replace those that will cease to be applied next Sunday.
The 19 mayors agree that this situation generates great uncertainty for municipalities, so the president of Fecam, Maria Concepcion Brito, has forwarded that Wednesday a letter to the head of the Canarian Executive in which he requests more information about the new scenario.
