The Colon Theater in A Coruñawill hold a Christmas concert by the Municipal Music Band this Sunday of the Herculean city together with the Coro Cantabile, under the direction of Juan Miguel Romero Llopis. Citation It will start at 12:30 and admission will be free. up to full capacity.
The recital programme will include musical and instrumental pieces together with the Coro Cantabile. Thus, the repertoire includes the songs ‘A Christmas Festival’ by L. Anderson and RW Smith; “The Wizard of Oz”, by J. Barnes; ‘Ukranian Bell Carol’, by MD Leontovych and P. Sparke; ‘Celtic Child’, by B. Appermont,; ‘A Christmas Overture’, by N. Hess, and ‘Flashes of Dawn’, by F. Ferran.
The Municipal Music Band of A Coruña offered its first concert with its new conductor on November 26th, Juan Miguel Romero Llopis. He has been assistant conductor of the New Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, principal conductor of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of Sant Vicent del Raspieg and deputy conductor of the Municipal Band of Barcelona.
