With the attendance of authorities, cultural managers, artists and agents from the area of arts, culture and heritage of the commune of San Antonio, the Municipal Cultural Plan (PMC) was announced.
This participatory roadmap is an important milestone for the development of strategies for the next 6 years with the aim of supporting cultural development by promoting citizen participation.
This process opens the possibility of planning and executing cultural activities within the commune, and accessing various projects across the cultural spectrum.
In this regard, Mayor Constanza Lizana said that the plan “is an instrument that serves to advance development and cultural production in San Antonio.”
He also invited citizens to actively participate in the working groups starting in November, where they will be able to express their interests.
The Municipal Cultural Plan will be developed with the technical support of the consulting firm “Habitaciones Comunes”, a team of five professionals including producers, coordinators and sociologists.
Finally, it was reported that artists, neighbors, and managers, among other relevant actors in the culture and heritage of San Antonio, will also be involved.
