The MPV doesn’t have to be dead, Hyundai reveals the futuristic Staria model

“Staria is Hyundai’s new model line in the MPV segment, ushering in a new era of mobility,” said SangYup Lee, Hyundai’s vice president. From the first trailer for the new MPV, however, it is very difficult to judge what the Koreans think about the Staria Korej model.

It is not yet clear whether the Staria will replace the Carnival model, the H1 van, or become a completely distinctive car. It is not even possible to estimate now whether it will be an electric car or a car with an internal combustion engine. But one thing is for sure, you will not find a similar boldly shaped family stagecoach on the market.

Staria has a giant mask, divided headlights and a hood that blends with the window and roof line. The side glazing is really generous, the stern is then practically designed, but the large vertical LED lamps attract attention.

Hyundai also offers a view of the interior. The horizontal vents are reminiscent of the design language set by the new Tucson, but the dominant feature is the giant, and apparently curved, display of the infotainment system. There is also a luxurious occupancy with comfortable armchairs in the second row.

The carmaker promises more information in the coming weeks. He states that the novelty will reach “selected markets”. It is not clear whether it will be Czech, however, the first information about the novelty is also shared by the brand’s domestic representation.
