“The Movement” commits suicide in the Bar Association!

As if it were not enough for the Free Patriotic Movement to suffer defeats and defeats in universities and unions before the Lebanese Forces, for those in charge of the movement’s lawyers decided to commit suicide and hand over the Bar Association without resistance to the Lebanese Forces.

After the resounding defeat suffered by the “Movement’s” candidate for the position of captain in the year 2021, where he received a small number that did not allow him to even reach membership status, the “Movement” nominated lawyer Fadi Haddad for the position of captain, with his prior knowledge of the difficult circumstances of the battle and the impossibility of his victory, so his battle turned Into a battle aiming to win sixth place, which will take him to membership status.
Nine candidates are competing for the position of head of the Bar Syndicate, and they are joined by the “current” candidate, the lawyers:

– Abdo Lahoud, candidate of the Forces.

– Fadi Al-Masry, candidate of the Phalange Party.

– Iskandar Elias, independent.

– Alexander Najjar, who previously ran as a candidate with the support of the Phalange and the “Amal” movement, while today, his current battle is shrouded in ambiguity after he lost the Phalange’s support, while “Amal” ostensibly announced its support for the “current” candidate, Fadi Haddad, but in reality, the votes of its voters are divided. Between Najjar, Al-Masry, Elias, and Haddad almost equally, and thus the influence of the “Amal” voter in the course of the battle will diminish.

– Wajih Massad, Farid Khoury, Ibrahim Muslim, Youssef Al-Khatib and Adeeb Zakhour.

In addition to the candidates for the position of captain, four candidates are in a battle to win the position of member: Elie Klimos, Wissam Eid, Labib Harfouche, and the Shiite duo’s candidate, Shawqi Shuraim.

In the details, if the “National Movement” insists on proceeding with Haddad’s nomination and withholding his votes from the rest of the independent candidates such as Iskandar Elias, Ibrahim Muslim, or Wajih Massad, the “Forces” candidate will be the most likely to win the position of captain, knowing that if the “Forces” candidate wins With the position of captain, he will seek to secure the victory of the “Forces” council member, Maya Zaghrini, for the position of commissioner of the Palace of Justice. As a result, the “Forces” will tighten its grip on the Bar Association, and transfer its experience in Lebanese and private universities to the Bar Association.
