The motive of the TNI Bais Team Commander in Aceh was revealed to be shot dead, starting with the perpetrator knowing the victim’s habits

AECH, KOMPAS.TV – The Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Kombes Winardy, revealed the motive behind the shooting of the Commander of the Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) Team (Dantim) of the TNI in the Pidie region, Aceh, Captain Inf Abdul Majid (53).

Winardy said the three perpetrators, each with the initials AF, D and M, were arrested on Sunday (31/10/2021) morning in different places.

It is known that those who are a gang of robbers are desperate to kill Abdul Majid’s victim because they want to control his property in the form of cash.

“This (case) is purely a robbery, we have investigated it. They want to control the victim’s money,” said Winardy at his press conference in Aceh on Sunday (31/10/2021).

Winardy explained that the three suspects in the shooting of Captain Abdul were civilians from Pidie Regency. In carrying out their duties, the three actors have different roles.

Suspect D (48) is the owner of the weapon, then M (41) is a person who knows the victim, and AF (42) is the executor who shot the victim.

Winardy said that the suspects had planned the robbery against members of the TNI.

Starting from the suspect M, who already knew Captain Abdul, knew the habit of the victim who often carried cash in the car.
