On Friday, April 10, 2024, the police received a report that a terrible tragedy may have occurred on one of the properties near Dąbrowa Tarnowska in Wola Szczucińska.
The remains of girls aged 3 and 5 were found in a bonfire at the back of the house.
Everything indicates that the 40-year-old mother who lives with them contributed to the children’s deaths.
– The traces are being secured. The cause and motives of the children’s deaths will be determined. The prosecutor will most likely send the remains for an autopsy. We are checking whether there have been any interventions in this family. I can say that the blue card procedure was not initiated at this address – said the spokeswoman of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Krakow, deputy inspector. Police officers, an investigation team and forensic technicians are working on site. The activities carried out are carried out under the supervision of the prosecutor.
