Top Trending Topics: The Trending Topics list highlights the top moments in culture (movies, memes, music and more) as reflected on YouTube, based on analysis by the YouTube Culture & Trends team of a variety of topics. signals, including views, uploads, and creator activity around these topics. Only topics that were determined to have notable popularity this year, either because they were new in 2024 or because they experienced significant increases in user interest metrics, were eligible.
Top Creators: Ranking of channels based on subscribers earned in the country obtained in 2024. This excludes artists, brands, media companies and children’s channels. One channel per creator.
Top Songs: Based on country views of songs that debuted in 2024 or experienced significant year-over-year growth. Including official music videos, lyric videos and art and lyric videos.

The most relevant topics of 2024
This year for Mexicans, sports, native YouTube entertainment and even the presidential elections stood out as central topics. The democratization of digital content creation has not only transformed fandoms turning them into active participants, but it has also challenged what is among the most popular and trending within YouTube for users in our country.
In the creators section, Fede Vigevani confirms that he is the Top Creator in Mexico, with two first places in a row, in 2023 and 2024. On the other hand, the dominance of the Mexican regional continues with the positive inertia that it promoted in the last edition and, on this occasion, it managed to break its record with 9 appearances by performers of the genre in the top songs by artists such as the rising figure, Xavithe collaboration of Natanael Cano y Oscar Maidanthe appearance of Featherweight –who was also the Top Artist of the Year– and the first place on the list, Julian Alvarez.
Top trending topics
The interests of the Mexican community have focused on sports, with four positions related to sports events and video games, especially related to soccer. On the other hand, topics such as the anime or the launch of Deadpool and Wolverine have generated a lot of interaction, up to events of national relevance, such as the presidential elections, which are ranked fifth. Another phenomenon that could be observed is the growth of animated series native to the platform that experienced exponential growth inside and outside of YouTube, such as the case of Amazing Circus.

Fede Vigevani continues at the top of the list for the second consecutive year. Another creator who repeats himself within the Top 10 is MrBeast, who went from second place in 2023 to ninth in 2024. On the other hand, we see new names in this top 10, such as Alejo Igoa, who already exceeds 52 million subscribers on your channel. We also found creators with a long history on the platform, such as Juan De Dios Pantoja, who achieved tenth position. Another case that deserves recognition is that of Cristiano Ronaldo with his new channel UR · Cristiano, which is in position 16 on this list.
