Houston probably signed its most improbable victory of the season in Salt Lake City. Deprived of James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Clint Capela, the Rockets defeated Jazz 126-117.

Houston owes its victory to Eric Gordon’s 50 points and a 17-6 partial initiated and concluded by Thabo Sefolosha to switch to the break with a 13 point advantage (59-46). Houston was able to keep the hand in the second half despite the absence of its “Big Three”. James Harden suffers from the thigh, Clint Capela from the heel while Russell Westbrook was spared.

Faced with his old team, Thabo Sefolosha perfectly fulfilled his role as sixth man. The Vaudois benefited from a playing time of 26 minutes to register 9 points and to collect 3 rebounds. He presented a +10 rating.
