As tradition dictates, New York opened the Spring/Summer 2024 Fashion Week showsattracting fashionistas from all over the world: models, journalists and other trendy it-girls. The kick-off was given on September 7 with the Helmut Lang show. Highly anticipated, it was the first fashion show imagined by the new artistic director appointed last May, Peter Do.
What followed were around ten fashion shows per day and just as many evenings and presentations organized by fashion houses and other brands. If it ended on Wednesday September 13 – to make way for London and its Vogue World 2023 party – as usual, this new Fashion Week was full of highlights… and sharp looks ! From the first days, Katie Holmes attracted all eyes, nestled in a long burgundy dress at the Ulla Johnson show. At Proenza Schouler, Pamela Anderson caused a sensation with her very natural makeup while Sofia Richie looked stunning in a two-tone strapless dressmarked by sobriety.
Au Ralph Lauren fashion show, Jennifer Lopez stood out with her long bohemian dress while Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu stood out in a sheath in the brand’s colors : white and navy blue. If Robin Wright and Amanda Seyfried agreed on immaculate outfits, sometimes in dresses, sometimes in suits, Emma Roberts radiated beauty in an emerald creation. Cara Delevingne also posed on the photocall, in a total black look.
At Domino Park in Brooklyn, the Michael Kors show also attracted a lot of people : Blake Lively in a gold jumpsuit, Ellen Pompeo in an XXL gray jacket, Vanessa Hudgens in a total camel look, Rita Ora in a flare jumpsuit…
