The most popular cars among Ukrainians
From January to June, Ukrainians purchased almost five thousand cars imported from China. Most of them (more than three thousand) are new.
So far, cars of Chinese origin have covered 12% of the Ukrainian market of new cars. In the segment of used cars, registered for the first time in Ukraine, the share of “Chinese” was only 2%.

Among the new cars purchased by the brand leader in the first half of 2023 (nearly 900 units) Volkswagen ID.4
In addition, Ukrainians often chose Dongfeng, Cherry Tiggo 4, Volkswagen ID.6 and Honda E.
Among the used cars the leader is also Volkswagen ID.4 (683 units).
Followed by Dongfeng, Volkswagen ID.6, Tesla Model Y and Honda E.

How much are the most popular cars
The price depends on various factors such as demand, supply, valuation of companies.
The most expensive new car is Volkswagen ID.6the average price of which is 40 thousand dollars, followed by Volkswagen ID.4 (38 thousand dollars), Honda E (30 thousand dollars), Dongfeng (20 thousand dollars) and Cherry Tiggo 4 (16 thousand dollars).
Also for Tesla Model Y will have to pay 50 thousand dollars.
Cars that were already in use are cheaper, but not by much.
The lowest cost Dongfeng, the average price of which is 17 thousand dollars. Followed by Honda E (25 thousand dollars), Volkswagen ID.4 (35 thousand dollars).
