After a tough 27-23 victory against the Texans, the Cowboys now boast a 10-3 record and still remain in second place in the NFC East. Of course, they don’t lose hope of snatching the first position from the Eagles, given that a calendar is still missing and the direct clash between them is awaiting December 24th. But for now, they’ll need to get another win on the road against Jacksonville.
Either way, it’s good to hear what the other franchises in the division are up to. Since the fight is still evenly matched and there is still room as well for the New York Giants to enter the next postseason. Washington commanders
The Commanders had their bye week last weekend, but now they will have to continue with their schedule and face the Giants in week 15. With the same New York record of seven wins, five losses and a tie, they will be looking to getting a bit away from their division rivals at home, FedExField. Currently, the Commanders remain third in the NFC East and have sixth place among the postseason qualifiers. Therefore, this confrontation is of utmost importance to them if they are to gain access to the next stage.

As far as injuries go, his running game is in serious doubt going into Sunday. Both Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson worked on a limited basis Wednesday. Joining them are guards Andrew Norwell and Trai Turner dealing with shoulder and ankle injuries, respectively. Their Week 13 matchup ended in a 20-point tie at MetLife Stadium. Hopefully this recent clash doesn’t end like this, and that New York can improve its results once and for all. Since the day before they lost to the Eagles 48 to 22. Their weakness is still when the game on the field does not work. Since Saquon Barkley would finish with only nine carries and 28 total yards.

As for injuries, left guard Shane Lemieux had a sore finger on Wednesday and was unable to practice. In offensive play, tight end Daniel Bellinger worked on a limited basis due to pain in his ribs. As was right defender Leonard Williams, due to a neck injury. Also, left cornerback Adoree’ Jackson was out of practice Wednesday with his knee.
Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia doesn’t stop on its way in this 2022 and managed to defeat the aforementioned Giants 48-22 on the road. With this win, their 12-1 record gave them steady entry into the postseason. With a Jalen Hurts who is in the MVP discussion this season, adding 217 yards and two touchdowns on passes in the game. On the rushing game, he would have one more score and 77 yards for a carry by his personal tally.

His next rival for this Sunday afternoon will be the Chicago Bears, an NFC North team that has only three victories this year. And considering the game will be at Soldier Field, one of the big advantages that the rival Cowboys organization has is that they don’t have as many questionable elements. Offensively, left guard Landon Dickerson and right tackle Lane Johnson are doubtfuls going into Week 15. And on the defensive end, safety Reed Blankenship missed practice Wednesday with a knee injury.
The schedule is getting shorter, but there are still opportunities for the Cowboys to clinch first place in the NFC East.
