Like other manufacturers, Honda also made price adjustments for car models sold in Indonesia. HR-V and CR-V are two of dozens of Honda cars whose prices have increased as of January 2023. Before the increase, the price for the cheapest Honda CR-V was still the same as the most expensive HR-V, which was priced at IDR 515.9 million.
Then in the first month of 2023, the most expensive Honda HR-V and the cheapest CR-V compact go up. The cheapest Honda CR-V currently sells for IDR 525.3 million. Then the most expensive HR-V is IDR 529.9 million. The difference between the two is IDR 4.6 million. If asked to choose, which would you choose? Dimensions
As an illustration, the dimensions of the Honda HR-V are 4,385 mm long, 1,790 mm wide and 1,590 mm high. While the Honda CR-V is larger with a length of 4,623 mm, a width of 1,855 mm and a height of 1,657 mm. Even though the dimensions are longer, wider and taller in terms of capacity, both the cheapest Honda CR-V and the most expensive HR-V can accommodate five people in it.
Machine
The cheapest Honda CR-V still carries a conventional SOHC i-VTEC 2.0L engine. Thanks to this engine, the cheapest Honda CR-V is capable of spitting out power equal to 154 PS and is channeled through a CVT transmission.
Meanwhile, the HR-V is equipped with a 1.5L turbo DOHC VTEC + DBW engine. On paper, this machine gives off more power than the Honda CR-V 2.0L. The power produced by the Honda HR-V 1.5 turbo engine is 177 PS at 6,000 rpm and 240 Nm of torque at 1,700-4,500 rpm. For transmission, the Honda HR-V also carries a CVT.
Feature
The cheapest Honda CR-V is equipped with several features such as 6 airbags, cruise control, Hill Start Assist and Vehicle Stability Assist. You could say that the safety features are not as complete as those of the most expensive Honda HR-V. Understandably, as the highest variant, of course the features embedded in the most expensive Honda HR-V are definitely more complete.
The number of airbags is also 6 which are located in the front, side and windows. Then other safety features include Honda LaneWatch, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Vehicle Stability Assist, Emergency Stop Signal, Brake Override System, and Parking Sensors.
So, that was a little comparison between the cheapest Honda CR-V and the most expensive HR-V. So with a different price of IDR 4.6 million, which one do you choose?
