Longtail Pagans
We start with the “least” valuable on the list. The Pagani Codalunga is in tenth position in the ranking with a production limited to only 5 units. It is inspired by classic racing cars from the ’60s and ’70s, although it is based on the Pagani Huayra. Under the rear hood there is a 6.0-liter biturbo V12 with 830 HP of power, enough for its barely 1,280 kilos of weight.

Mercedes-Maybach Exelero
One step above is a unique car that today we could begin to consider as a future classic. The Mercedes-Maybach Exelero was introduced in 2004 as a result of an order from Fulda (Goodyear’s German subsidiary) to carry out tire testing. Equip a 690 HP twin-turbo V12 which allowed it to reach a maximum speed of 350 km/h.

Bugatti Centodieci
Another of the cars with limited production is the Bugatti Centodieci revealed last year. It is a tribute to the Bugatti EB110 and was created to celebrate Bugatti’s 110th anniversary. It is based on the Chiron, but has a custom body and interior, maintaining the well-known engine. 8.0-liter W16 with 1,600 HP of power and 380 km/h top speed.

And speaking of exclusive Bugatti, the Bugatti Chiron Profilée is a one-off that sold last year for more than 10 million euros (taking into account auction fees). It is an exclusive hypercar with a series of aerodynamic improvements based on the Chiron. It has the 8.0-liter W16 in its 1,500 HP version.

Rolls-Royce Sweptail
Although it was introduced in 2017, the Rolls-Royce Sweptail is still one of the most expensive cars in the world. This masterpiece of craftsmanship, which became the most expensive car on the planet 7 years ago, is one of four one-offs built by the British manufacturer as an elegant coupé inspired by the world of boats. Equip a V12 of 6.75 liters and 460 HP.

Bugatti The Black Car

We are talking about a modern reinterpretation of Jean Bugatti’s Type 57 SC Atlantic, but with a 8.0-liter W16 with four turbochargers and 1,500 HP of power.

Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta Revo
Fourth place, just outside the podium, goes to the Pagani Zona HP Barchetta Revo. This version was responsible for ending the production of the legendary Zonda, an authentic one-off with a Barchetta-type body that has the best of Horacio Pagani’s house, including a V12 6.0 naturally aspirated from Mercedes-AMG that produces 800 HP of power.

Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail
We enter the podium and the bronze goes to another of Rolls-Royce’s one-offs. The Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail has a more prototypical approach, although it is a street car, with an elegant and futuristic body. It also has the same luxury details as the rest of the vehicle, as well as an engine V12 6.75 biturbo of 600 HP.

Rolls-Royce Boat Tail
The Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is the second most expensive car in the world. It is the third one-off in the Rolls-Royce series, an open-top vehicle considered the successor to the 2017 Sweptail with a two-tone exterior, a high-end interior with a champagne fridge and a sunshade. It was introduced in 2021 and came equipped with a V12 of 6.75 liters and 600 HP of power.

Rolls-Royce The Black Rose Droptail
But the title of being the most expensive car in the world is owned by the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail. This spectacular one-off is another two-seater convertible with a glass roof that incorporates an exclusive Cronograph watch valued at more than 200,000 euros on the dashboard. It also equips the V12 6.75 of 600 HP of power.
