This is not the first time strange streaks have been observed in a Martian crater. On March 30, the European Space Agency (ESA) released this image of 2 Martian craters taken by ESA Express. One of the craters shows evidence of a “brain field”, a soil structure that looks very much like the indentations in the human brain. However, the streaks are caused by ice deposits, not TARs.
