Blogger der8auer has published a new video in which he talks about probably the most dangerous CPU cooler. This processor cooler, which looks quite ordinary, uses liquid metal as a filler for heat pipes. And not the one that is usually used for cooling and consists of galium and indium, but a mixture of sodium and potassium.
This cooler itself is called Danamics LMX Liquid Metal and was released back in early 2010. The goal of this device was to surpass the efficiency of conventional heat pipes.
As for the cooling efficiency of such a monster, the Noctua NH-U12A is ahead of it by a fairly large margin.
The last one, for comparison, looks like this.
