As in the movies, you will roam the jungle for several days, fighting mosquitoes and vines, climb the mountains, risking falling into a gorge, and at the end, the prize is fantastic beauty. What are the most difficult places in the world to reach, which repay the difficult and sometimes dangerous journey to them with a view that made every struggle worth it?
Man-made wonders might be more accessible because they are most often associated with cities and towns. On the other hand, those created by nature are often far away and inaccessible, and in order to reach them, you have to put in a lot of effort. True, it is also the other way around – man-made wonders are so old that they have grown deep in the forests, while the ones created by nature are like on a tray – go and enjoy! And also – everyone has their own threshold of “unavailability”. For someone, a week-long expedition in the jungle will be “oh-nothing-crazy”, for another, a couple of hours of walking along a flat mountain path will be torture. Neither one is to be considered a hero, nor the other to be despised – to each his own.

If the other objects change, then almost all lists of the most beautiful but inaccessible places mention the “Tiger’s Nest” (“Takstang Palphug”) monastery in Bhutan. This small complex – the size and beauty of a toy against the background of the surrounding mountains – is located more than 3000 meters above sea level in the Paro Valley.
