On February 8 at 7 pm at the VEF Palace of Culture, the Operetta Theater invites to the theatrical Valentine’s Day concert program “Music of Love” (“Musique d’amour”). “This concert program with Viennese charm will be music with love for love; music we love and know. We are longing to meet with the audience, so this time we have listened to the requests of the spectators of the Operetta Theater. The most beautiful opera arias and duets, fragments from the audience’s favorite operettas and our concert programs will be performed, ”said Agija Ozoliņa-Kozlovska, the artistic director of the Operetta Theater.

The concert will feature the opera diva Sonora Vaice (soprano), Anta Jankovska (soprano / Italy), Laura Purena-Kancāne (soprano), Dainis Skutelis (tenor), Emīls Kivlenieks (tenor), Nauris Indzeris (baritone), Raimonds Ozols, whose violin is unique due to its particularly velvety sound, perfect technical performance and emotional depth, which does not leave the audience indifferent, as well as the Symphony Orchestra of the Operetta Theater conducted by Atvar Lakstīgala.
Program: Jean-Jacques Offenbach’s Olympia Aria, excerpts from Franz Lehar’s operetta The Funny Widow (the famous duo “Lips in Silence” in the repertoire of all the world’s major opera singers and “Song of Will” performed by Sonora Vaice), aria “You Own My Heart” from F. Lehar’s operettas “Land of Smiles”, Vitorio Monti’s “Chardash”, “Judith’s Aria” from F. Lehar’s operetta of the same name, etc., as well as surprises.
