The most beautiful Austrian is a Styrian

Miss and Mister Austria 2024

At the “Vienna Fashion Week” the most beautiful woman and the most beautiful man in Austria were chosen.

The 16th Vienna Fashion Week is currently taking place in Vienna’s Museumsquartier. The organizers of “Mission Austria” used the catwalk to hold the election of Miss and Mister Austria 2024. 18 finalists appeared before the jury and fought their way to the top with two walks. The winner was decided by “Mission Austria” owner Kerstin Rigger, “Wohnbau 2000” managing director Jörg Rigger, model Evelyn Rillé, star hairdresser Dieter Ferschinger, “Addicted to Models” managing director Kevin Ziehenberger and Dancing Stars professional Herby Stanonik.

Both shine as winners

“Miss Vienna” Lucia Sisic (20) and “Mister Styria” Christopher Dengg (35) went on stage as winners and now shine as the most beautiful in Austria. The 35-year-old fitness trainer fulfilled a dream by taking part. He was inspired by his own mother, who worked as a model and won the title of “Mrs. Austria”.

Born with heart disease

The 20-year-old “Miss Austria” posted on Instagram with touching words: “I can’t believe that despite all my experiences, setbacks, obstacles, but also because of the knowledge I gained from them to “enjoy every second”, I am standing here today. Here – as Miss Austria 2024.” For Sisic, the title is a major milestone, because she was born with a heart condition and has had to undergo numerous operations since birth. She makes how grateful she is for her fulfilling life visible in an Instagram post to the pediatric cardiology team treating her. She also wants to use her story to encourage others and show that you can achieve your goals even with an illness.

Everyone did their best

The two newly crowned winners had not expected to win, but were overjoyed and overwhelmed with joy. Everyone deserved the crown because everyone had given their best, Sisic and Dengg stressed.
