The most “emergency” owners of electric vehicles live in Primorye and the Krasnodar Territory.
These are the results of a joint study by VSK Insurance House and Avtodom Group of Companies. According to their estimates, the most accident-prone brand of electric vehicles in Russia is Tesla, primarily Model 3 – it accounts for a total of at least 13% of road accidents (8% of which are Model 3). The top also includes Evolute i-PRO (8%), Jaguar I-Pace, Renault Magnum E-Tech, other Tesla models (Model S and Model X) (no more than 2.7% for each model).
Among Russian regions, the largest number of accidents with electric vehicles was recorded in the Primorsky Territory (15%), Krasnodar Territory (12%), Khabarovsk Territory (8%), Vologda and Irkutsk regions (7% each).
Earlier, the analytical agency Autostat, citing data from Passport Industrial Consulting JSC, published data on sales of new electric vehicles in Russia in August of this year. Buyers purchased 1,474 cars, which is 8.2 times more than in the same month last year.
The Zeekr brand demonstrated the best performance – 285 cars of this brand were registered in Russia within a month. This is followed by Evolute (191 cars), Volkswagen (165 cars), Tesla (140 cars) and Hongqi (106 cars).
Let us remind you that today 29 electric charging stations for electric vehicles were put into operation in Sochi. Now the resort administration is concluding agreements with investors for the installation of 16 more such stations, and applications have been received for three additional ones.
