The Moscow Region Government rejected two offers to finance Khimki in the RPL

As it became known to the “Championship”, the owner of Fix Price Sergey Lomakin ready to fully finance Khimki, which will allow the club to play in the Russian Premier League.

In return, Lomakin requires full control over the club: he offers renaming to “Homeland”, he is going to deal with transfers. The Moscow Region Government rejects the offer. At the same time, one bookmaker is ready to assist the team in the amount of 150 million rubles, but the regional government also refuses such an offer.

Earlier, the Minister of Sports of the Moscow Region Roman Teryushkov said that Khimki would not enter the RPL if they did not find a sponsor before the end of May.

Recall that the current season of the Football National League was decided to complete ahead of schedule. “Khimki”, who took second place in the standings, received a promotion, but later there was information that the team could remain in the FNL or even go down in the PFL.
