For her first two novels, the author immerses us in a complex universe with varied characters. During the first volume, we meet three teenagers and their almost opposite points of view. Whisper is a princess overprotected by the king, whose mother will soon die in view of her state of health. Eden is a young girl expelled from an orphanage who wishes to avenge the death of her father, and Jadis is a peasant who is given a mysterious box to cure the queen.
These three characters have different objectives, but they will be very well connected by fate and especially by the pen of Cassandre Lambert. The first volume immerses us in a magical adventure, with endearing characters and an end that makes you want to read the sequel. The second volume is a little more adult, even if just as pleasant to read. Both books have common themes that can affect us all, such as family, friendship or the desire for revenge.
Cassandre Lambert makes this story addictive, we turn the pages without even realizing it. This novel is aimed at teenagers, but it is still very pleasant to read if you like fantasy.
The story
