The Moroccan prisoner tells for the first time the details about being freed from Russia … and this is what his mother from Saudi Arabia said • Newspaper Al Marsad

Al-Marsad newspaper: Moroccan prisoner Ibrahim Saadoun told the story of his release from Russian prisons through the mediation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The prisoner said he was surprised by the soldiers entering his cell, which was with a number of American and European inmates, then they took them on a truck and took them to the airport, where he heard the the doctor’s voice and his accent was “Saudi”.

He indicated that he had arrived at Riyadh airport, and then his plane went to Morocco, where his mother and father greeted him and hugged him after 3 years of absence.

For his part, his father said that the kingdom speaks little and does a lot, praising Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s policy, adding: “The Crown Prince’s word was acceptable on the Russian side.”

As for the young man’s mother, she said she had a vision in which a person was wearing a white cloak and was pulling Ibrahim by the hand, and then she received the news that her son had been released.

The mother added: “I no longer care whether you return or not, as long as I know that he has reached Saudi Arabia, the country of salvation.”

The young man’s family sent a letter of thanks and gratitude to the crown prince for the great effort made to free his son.

Ibrahim Saadoun was sentenced to death by the pro-Russian authorities in Donetsk for joining the war alongside the Ukrainian army. The Moroccan student was arrested last April along with British Eden Aslin and Sean Benner, after fighting alongside the Ukrainian forces in the city of Mariupol.
