The Moroccan Capital Market Authority Participates in World Investor Week for the Seventh Year in a Row

For the seventh consecutive year, the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) takes part in the World Investor Week (WIW), an international campaign initiated by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) to promote financial education among the general public.

This 7e edition, in which more than 100 jurisdictions around the world participate, will focus on the themes of investor resilience, investment basics, sustainable finance, fraud prevention and digital finance.

Financial education, a strategic priority for the AMMC

The AMMC attaches great importance to the financial education of the general public, considering it as a lever for the development of the capital market.

Through its financial education program, the AMMC aims to improve knowledge related to the various concepts of the capital market and make them accessible to as many people as possible.

Several activities are planned during the months of October and November, including:

  • A comic book competition;
  • New editions of the investor’s guide;
  • Educational video capsules;
  • Financial awareness and education messages;
  • Immersion days and conferences for the benefit of students from major schools and universities.
  • New content on the “Finance Quiz” application.
