The Twitter community loves a good mystery, and in the last few hours a viral photo gave Internet users a lot to investigate. The controversial image, which at first glance looks like a simple postcard from a group of friends on vacation, perplexed several users of the social network, who found more and more curiosities as they looked at the photo.
It all started a few days ago, when the user @Diegofelizondo published the controversial photo. The protagonist of the viral moment was the first to point out one of the curiosities of the postcard, which he shared with the publication: “I was asked IF I WAS MISSING A LEG HA HA HA HA HA HA“.
Sure enough, in the photo that he and his group of friends took, his right leg is positioned in such a way that it hides behind one of the friends, leaving a strange void when the fabric of his pants did not move with the limb. The publication reached a large number of users, reminding some of the painting “family of mummers“, where Picasso he left out a character’s leg for the sake of composition; and reminding others of the photo of Marty McFly and his brothers in the movie”Return to the future“.
By the time the publication exceeded 50,000 likes, several of the experts in Photoshop who frequent Twitter they had put their skills into service of restoring the user’s leg. However, Internet users soon found more inconsistencies in the photo:
“The more I look at this picture the weirder it gets…legs and sunscreen are missing. The one who is partying in white has a very large torso or very small legs… are there doctors there in Milan? I can recommend one from Tolosa“commented a netizen. “I don’t know, but is the puppy okay?“another narrowed down.
Several users were also quick to point out that he he wasn’t the only one with missing legs: “I am more concerned with what the one in the back is holding up with, since it does not have any“, “You have one leg and the one on your left has both… strange… the one who did the Photoshop. Did you miss a lot of classes?“, “There are few legs for so many people in that photo hahahaha” and “The more I look at the photo the less I understand it HAHAHAHA witchcraft“were some of the user comments.
Among other flaws, netizens pointed out some toes that seem buried in the sand among the group of friends, and the superhuman arm length of one of the boys that gave him the perspective of the photo.
Finally, there were also users who sympathized with the viral tweet and shared their own incidents with missing limbs:
