Martyr in Gulovsha village of Yevlakh district Rahimov Tabriz Rahim his son’s memorial service was held.
IS Referring to AZERTAC, it is reported that the participants of the event first commemorated our martyrs who died for the integrity of our Motherland. First Deputy Head of Yevlakh City Executive Power, veteran of the Patriotic War, Khalig Aliyev, spoke about the historical significance of the Victory won by the brave Azerbaijan Army in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of Muzaffar Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. He emphasized that the youth of Yevlakh fought shoulder to shoulder with their compatriots and died for the liberation of the homeland from enemy occupation in achieving this historic victory. Noting that this heroism is an eternal example for generations, he called on every young man to serve his country, people and state faithfully in order to be worthy of this example. Speaking about the heroism demonstrated by our martyrs, he emphasized that their lives are of incomparable importance in the patriotic spirit of the young generation.
The members of the martyrs’ families spoke about the loyalty of Azerbaijani sons to the Motherland, their high spirits in the struggle for the liberation of our land, their short but honorable life, and expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for cherishing the memory of the martyrs and for the attention and care shown to the families of the martyrs.
It was reported that the martyr Tabriz Rahimov showed bravery in the battles for the liberation of our lands from occupation during the 44-day Patriotic War. After the war, Tabriz Rahimov, who continued to serve as an active military serviceman, was heroically martyred in Zangilan district on September 12 and 13, during the prevention of provocations committed by the Armenian army along the western border of Azerbaijan. He was awarded the “For the Fatherland” medal and the “Flag of Azerbaijan” order by the relevant orders of the President of Azerbaijan for his bravery in the battles during the prevention of enemy provocation. The name of the martyr was given to the street where he lived.
Speaking at the commemoration ceremony, MP Ilham Mammadov, chairman of the Yevlakh district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, Rafik Aliyev, deputy chairman of the Yevlakh district representative office of the Public Union “Promoting the National Heroes of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, participant in the Patriotic War, writer, journalist Natig Alisoy said in their speeches that Muzaffar Ali Bash The territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was restored due to the determination of Commander Ilham Aliyev, the bravery of our Army, and our brave boys who became martyrs and veterans. Our martyred hero children will never be forgotten, works will be written about them, films will be made. Future generations will keep their heroes alive forever.
Later, the monument-spring complex built in memory of the martyr was inaugurated.
At the event, a composition prepared by the students of Gülovsha village secondary school and employees of Yevlakh City Culture Center was shown.
