We like kids annoying, not sick! Action being at the heart of our values, we are launching the second edition of Everesting for the Montreal Children’s Hospital. With this fundraiser, we want to once again give young patients all the energy they need to get back on their feet and continue having fun.
Oberson, in collaboration with its valuable partners, Boréale and BFL Canada, are taking on the challenge of accumulating 8,848 meters of elevation gain on the Camillien-Houde route in Montreal. On August 25, between 7 a.m. and noon, we’re taking on this major challenge and pedaling together to raise funds as impressive as the summit of Everest!
The funds raised will be used for research at the first and only primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) clinic in Quebec. This department of the Montreal Children’s Hospital holds a special place in our hearts. In fact, this unit provides follow-ups, treatments and hospitalizations for little Frédérique Tremblay Oberson.
It’s in our DNA to make a difference in our community. Although children make up 25% of the population, only 10% of research is dedicated to them. Every donation goes a long way. It helps attract an additional seven to ten dollars in public funding to help families whose last hope lies in research.
On August 25th, we ride for research and especially for children. Encourage us to reach our summit!
