The money of the iPhone 14s sold by Apple will go to Samsung!

Apple has been working with Samsung for the OLED screen it has been using on iPhone models since 2017. But the company no longer wants to feed its biggest competitor in the market. Therefore, it will greatly reduce the purchases it has made compared to previous years. However, Samsung will continue to produce OLED for the iPhone 14 series. In other words, it will continue to earn money from every iPhone sold, although not as much as before.

Big step for iPhone camera from Apple: It cooperates with LG!

Apple will work with LG Innotek and Jahwa Electronics for the periscope lens to be used in the iPhone 15 camera.

Samsung will produce a special OLED display only for the iPhone 14 Pro!

Being among the largest panel manufacturers in the world, Samsung is undoubtedly in the leadership seat of the industry in smartphone screens. In the past year iPhone 13 It was the sole supplier of low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) thin-film transistor (TFT) OLED panels used in the Pro and Pro Max models, and LG and BOE panels in the iPhone 13 and 13 mini.

But things are changing with the new series to be introduced this year. It seems that Samsung will only produce a special OLED display for the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro. The panels of the 6.7-inch Pro Max models will be predominantly produced by LG, and 25% of the screens of the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 models will be produced by BOE. The panels of the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max will again be divided between LG and Samsung.

Therefore, Apple still could not become independent due to its lack of experience in making LTPO smartphone panels and not being able to produce as high-capacity as Samsung. For this reason, it has turned its face to LG for Pro Max panels.

The LTPO panels of next-generation iPhones are critical to maintaining a dynamic refresh rate. For this reason, the claims that the non-Pro iPhone models that have been released recently will only have a 60 Hz screen refresh rate are getting stronger. We can also say that the screens will be notched again.

On the other hand, Pro models will both have a high refresh rate of 120 Hz and leave the notch design behind and switch to a new panel in the form of a hole screen or a pill screen with a hole. Similarly, it is expected that there will be some differences in camera capabilities between the two models.
