“While in Sarsina the Municipality has already contracted out all the works to restore the damage caused by floods and landslides to the infrastructures under its responsibility, in the Municipality of Mercato Saraceno none of this: the projects are missing and, consequently, the works are not contracted out , although the resources are there, we are talking about 2 million and 400 thousand euros requested on the damage estimates, of which only 75 thousand euros were used to fix the Linaro – Valleripa road”. This was stated in a note by Ombretta Farneti, candidate of the League in the Forlì-Cesena constituency. “And to say that the construction sites should have started even at the beginning of winter 2023. The difference between Sarsina and Mercato lies in the color of the administration: in the first municipality, the one of Sarsina, a centre-right administration has been established which cares about its citizens, is pragmatic and active, while in Mercato we have the left incapable of proceeding with even the slightest speed”. Farneti’s attack refers to the delays in the works in the hamlet of Bacciolino on the road system, in particular on via Romagna and via Fiume, on the stability and safety of the bridges and, “finally – adds the Lega candidate – on the purifier present in the hamlet of which we would like to know the current state of use and the number of homes connected and on these issues we are about to present a question to find out about the status of the projects and any solutions already planned, but reading the newspapers serious doubts emerge about the promises of the Democratic Party candidates in the regional elections and the distorted vision they have of reality, always in a propaganda key”.
Then he concludes: “We wonder if the Democratic Party has already forgotten the enormous responsibilities of the regional administration regarding the protection of hydrogeological instability, especially in the hilly and mountainous areas of Romagna, or is doing everything to diminish them but we are more concerned that there are voters who still believe these fallacious promises.”
