The moment of Thomas ‘Huuge’ and Bart Cannaerts’ first time…

Lisbeth Imbo, journalist and presenter of the Seventh day, made it exciting right away in its first episode. Although she herself had no idea. Furthermore, guest presenter Bart Cannaerts, who was called in at the last minute, smoothly guided himself through the episode, although Lieven Scheire and Thomas ‘Huuge’ provided the funniest moment.

Last night’s winner:

Newcomer Lisbeth Imbo, though it was close. She tried so frantically to come up with the name of politician Veerle Heeren that she forgot that her seconds were ticking away. She won by one second.

The loser:

After two entries, Flo Windey must leave the game. She had 19 seconds left at the end of an exciting final, Anthony Nti still had two. But he knew that Bert was one of the main characters from Sesame Street and played her right home.

Tonight’s newcomer:

Open VLD chairman Egbert Lachaert.

The best quotes:

Barbara Sarafian, about the absence of Erik Van Looy: “Shouldn’t we send him a fruit basket?”

Bart Cannaerts: “Erik doesn’t eat fruit.”

Sarafian: “A basket of preparé, then?”

Cannaerts to the jury: “What do you expect from me?”

Jan Jaap van der Wal: “Have you prepared?”

Cannaerts: “I didn’t brush my teeth this morning to make the transition less abrupt.”

The most beautiful moment:

Former ‘smartest person’ Lieven Scheire thought it was a shame that the attention always went to the winners of the quiz, never to the other finalists. “Take Thomas now… Huuge was it?” Thomas Huyghe stepped into the picture. The magnanimous Scheire allowed him to ask a question. “This is your moment,” it sounded. To which Huyghe with straight face: “What do you know about Lieven Scheire?”
