A Coruña once again became the epicenter of the fashion industry with a new edition, the second, of the Modiña Lab. The event, organized by Diesem Eventos and the Galiciademoda agencygathered 320 attendees in the city and more than a thousand people in streaming to talk, among other topics, about sustainability and marketing in the textile industry.
The initiative was born last year seeking to be the fashion industry unifier. The objective of the Modiña Lab is highlight all phases of the business fabric that make up the world of fashion. “Designers, stylists, marketing departments, influencers, agencies, suppliers, training schools, universities and brands are a fundamental part of the project,” they explain.
In this second edition we talked about entrepreneurship in the fashion sector, marketing strategies for this type of projects and also put a important focus on sustainabilityone of the great claims to this industry.
Experts like Patricia Alonsocorporate director of marketing and communication at Adolfo Dominguez; Oscar Valesfounder of VAZVA y WASTED shoes; Xosé Luis Rezapartner director MK JUNE, president of Galician eCommerce Cluster and president and founder of Markea; y Julian Zaeradirector of RRHH de Pull&Bearwere part of the talks.
Lastly, the event featured a fashion startup competition under the name of JF64 Emprende. The companies Rotsen, Alma Diversa, Melena de Papel, Lorena Bello, Muta, Izanti, Savalé Brand, Zeltia ao Aire, I ♥ Helena, Julia Vilariño and Suidade DG participated in it.
