Tesla Model 3, the most important model of the California carmaker, should receive several significant modifications as part of the modernization for the model year 2021. The first reports spoke, for example, of the electric control of the boot lid, the new center console, the possibility of removing chrome from the exterior, the new interior trim, the heated steering wheel, etc.
In addition to aesthetic changes, we will also see changes in the most watched parameter of perhaps all electric cars. Of course, we are talking about a single charge, which has increased in all versions, as evidenced by the updated configurator on the carmaker’s website. In addition, the sports versions offer better acceleration.

But let’s start with the basic Standard Range Plus model, where the range has shifted from the original 409 km to 430 km. The Long Range Dual Motor will now offer a range of 580 km instead of the original 560 km, and the top performance version should now be able to cover up to 567 km, while before the upgrade it offered a range of only 530 kilometers.

In the Dual Motor versions, ie with a pair of electric motors, the acceleration has also been improved from 0 to 100 km / h. The 3 Long Range improved by 0.2 seconds with a time of 4.4, while the 3.3 in the Performance version improved by 0.1 seconds. We have no idea whether there have been any significant changes to the drive system or chassis, but it is interesting to expand the range of wheels. In addition to the new look of the 18 “and 19” discs, the carmaker also added new 20 “discs with the name Überturbine.
The modernized Tesla Model 3 starts on the Czech market from CZK 1,300,200 for the Standard Range Plus version, the Long Range version comes to CZK 1,486,990 and the top Performance model comes to CZK 1,700,200.
