In the history of facelifts, this one will probably be the least significant. As part of the modernization, Renault didn’t even give the Arkana a new Clio or Rafal-style cuckoo with a distinctive light signature – the Arkana thus retains its ice-cold “tusks”. The main distinguishing mark of the modernized Arkana is thus only the new logo of the French car company.
This can occur on the car in three color versions, depending on the selected equipment line. There will be only three equipment version options: Evolution, Techno and Esprit Alpine. The latter represents a new top-of-the-line design and replaces the current RSLine and E-Tech engineered lines.
The sporty Esprit Alpine (guess what it’s inspired by – find the hint here) boasts, for example, a specific radiator grille, emblems with the Alpine brand logo or 19-inch wheel rims. In the cabin, we find seats upholstered with Eco Tep material and imitation suede with blue stitching. There are also new details, such as seat belts with two blue stripes.

The rejuvenated Renault Arkana boasts a new logo of the automaker and a modified radiator grille. You probably won’t even notice it…
There were no radical changes in the cabin either. The nice news is that navigation will be a standard part of the Easy Link infotainment, and wireless support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is also an improvement.
The digital instrument panel has been slightly modified, and on its seven-inch screen (basic for the Evolution equipment), it can now display information on a larger area of the panel. Higher equipment basically has a larger ten-inch display.

The range of engines remains unchanged, the basis is still a four-cylinder with a volume of 1.3 liters equipped with mild-hybrid technology and always combined only with a dual-clutch automatic. It is available in either a 103 kW (140 hp) or 116 kW (160 hp) version. The efficient E-Tech self-charging hybrid with a combined output of 105 kW (145 hp) that can drive for five liters per hundred also remains.
We don’t have the price list of the new Arkana yet, but due to the narrow range of changes, it probably won’t change too much compared to the current version – thanks to promotional prices, it starts at 661,000 CZK. The first interested parties in the Czech Republic will be able to order the modernized Arkana this fall.
