In the morning, the Secretary of Foreign Relations reported that he arrived at Terminal 1 of the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) “Benito Juárez”, the sixteenth shipment, with one million packaged vaccines against Covid-19.
The vaccines arrived on Cathay Pacific airline flight CX86, from Beijing International Airport, China, with a stopover in Hong Kong. Together with previous shipments of Sinovac they make a total of 14 million doses sent by this pharmaceutical company.
58 elements of the Mexican Army participated in the arrival, transfer and safety of the vaccines.
It should be noted that our country has received 59 million 387 thousand 335 doses of packaged vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, CanSino Biologics and Johnson & Johnson.
Likewise, in Mexican territory, the Drugmex laboratory has packaged five million 582 thousand 540 doses of CanSino Biologics, and the Liomont laboratory another six million 867 thousand 200 biologicals from AstraZeneca, for a total of 12 million 449 thousand 740 vaccines packaged in the country.
