The mobile blood donation unit of the Galicia Transfusion Center is this Friday and Saturday in Tui.
As usual, the unit’s bus will be installed in the vicinity of the health center, on Casal Aboy street.

The Galician Blood, Organ and Tissue Donation Agency (ADOS) is a public body dependent on the Health Conselleria that encompasses the Galicia transfusion center. Among its objectives is to supply blood components to all hospitals in Galicia based on their needs.
Every day ADOS moves ten mobile units to different points in Galicia and keeps seven fixed donation points open in the main hospitals in search of blood donations that are then processed and prepared to care for patients who need it.
People interested in donating should remember that only those over 18 years of age with a minimum weight of 50 kg can donate, that they must have breakfast or wait two hours after lunch and bring a donation card, ID card or similar document. It is recommended not to donate if you have had a fever, cough or breathing problems in the last 15 days and you should inform the medical staff if you are taking any medication.
